It's like Mad Men Meets Miami
Nero's been experiencing an uncharacteristic Miami jones of late, which manifests itself a bit like a balmy summer's eve and causes my palms to sweat profusely. What has brought on this hyperhydrosis, you ask? Quite simply put, the chance perusal of The Raleigh Hotel's website has Nero scheming and fiending, painting a sordid plot twist -- a salsa-infused, weekend fantasy tryst with a certain Sir Don Draper. The iconic hotel, after all, provides the perfect period backdrop and really, ladies, let's 'fess up, who fills out white linen with better flank than the Hamm sandwich? Phew...it's enough to make the swimming pool sweat.

Looks like they have done up the Raleigh quite a bit. It's for sure a fun place for some fun in the sun, with a young hip crowd, and great drinks poolside.Yet, I picture you more at the Delano. ;)
That pool is the stuff of, er, wet dreams.
I do adore the white buttoned sofa which goes on forever and I can just imagine my heart skipping a beat at the sight of one Mr Draper with arm outstretched along its gorgeous low back, Lucky Strike in hand and clinking scotch on ice in the other! Yummy!

Vicky,
Looks like I'll have to dream up another steamy Don to share the Delano digs!
Alas, due to the mid-mod backdrop, I think none but The Raleigh will do for my Hamm fantasy ;)

Dear Decorator,
Pant-pant-pant....
Cheers, Alcira
Steamy indeed! And that black border around the pool gets me every time...even spectacular when standing beside it.
Lissa,
I can only imagine one would feel rather light headed in the presence of that pool ;)
Cheers, Alcira
