Of Going Bold in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is a place that everyone should visit at least once in a lifetime. Trust me fair Nerophytes when I affirm and confirm that all of the age-old stereotypes surrounding this much mythologized pin-on-a-map are bona fide. The Argentine capital persists as the fabled Paris of South America, the swelteringly sexy port city, the hub of all things hot and hip and cool -- home to the best espresso, Malbec and man-meat to be had, well, anywhere. But before you book a generic hotel room and scratch this destination off the ole bucket list just like any other bus-bound tourist, consider living dangerously and renting a serious shag pad. It's another hemisphere, a different wavelength -- Hell, even the seasons are topsy-turvied. Yes, what happens in BA generally stays there, so don't blame Nero if you decide to stay put too. The apartment below certainly seethes with macho backbone, and Nero's intimidated senseless by that overpowering stamped-cow headboard, which methinks would be put to better use underfoot or at the very least, flipped and hung in the opposite direction. But we're taking risks on a Tuesday, folks, and awakening the carnivore inside -- walking on the wild side. Because it's never too late to tango.

Dear Nero, woooow this is really bold. Of course as a zebra lover, my eyes immediately stopped on that bedroom, I would never think of using the zebra carpet as head board, or wall art : ) And that animal head in the little balcony is a bit awkward. I am looking forward to your Roman escape as well, only few months away, I am sure you will share with us beautiful details : )
