Of Shear Terror in the Lone Star State

We are Texans,
Wearers of boot and buckle,
Pistol-wielders riled at high noon,
Rootin'-Tootin' Renegades.
But we are also
The Cook, the Wife, the Lover
In no uncertain order
 And most importantly,
The Mother.
So when a cowgal pal
To Nero said it's time
To tweak my head
A little Lanphear
And a pinch of Tilda
Was all it took.
So prime your triggers
And start a-pacing
Say your prayers,
And get hooves racing
Start stampeding
Towards the door
Because we are Texans,
Hear us roar.

Thanks for helping a suburban mom keep current - or find her mojo - or get her groove back, or whatever it is they are calling it these days. ;)
