You need to stop posting these gorgeous pictures, you're making me want to go to Egypt, and I can't now, can't! So stop, you're making me suffer!

on a side note, how did you get your link to appear at the end of the text when you comment??

Hi there Moomser,

Well as soon as our desert shack is looking chic, you and la famiglia must make your way over our way.
Hm, not sure what you mean.
I just write out nerochronicles.com by hand every time -- no real science there.
Cheers, Alcira

My heart skipped a beat at the third picture. Those are just the lighting sconces I am looking for.....they are sooo beautiful!! I am sure they were at some market, and am sure its unlikely that they are by chance available for sale here in the U.S.? Such a beautiful and inspiring post!
PS Stop by..doing a great giveaway for a fabulous signed book!

That cafe with the two handsome boys is 100 kinds of beautiful. And I think I may have to polish up my own vintage brass tray table after seeing how they're made...

Alcira, I am positively spellbound. Speechless. Dumbfounded, too.

p.s.- I am also clueless as to how you resist all of those temptations. I would have no will power or self control whatsoever. Nope. None.

You're killing me! I haven't been in a souk for a few years and the last one (in Istanbul) was so disappointing - everything is fake now compared to when I was there last 10 years ago. :( This one looks MUCH, MUCH better! Have to get there sometime soon. :)
