On Suppah-Fly and a Nosh Pit Makeover

Surely the lion's share of the blogosphere has already feasted its eyes on toe-tapping, tango-dancing Valorie Hart of Visual Vamp's latest opus -- the transformation of a trad but tired New Orleans dining room for a client who must be over-the-moon and itching to cook up and serve something spectacular (Oui! That's a bona fide Mouille, folks). But for those of you who haven't yet had your appetites whetted, hit up this link, drink it all in and savor every last lagniappe. Nero just couldn't resist a second helping.

Perfect post for the Mardi Gras.

So this is one Visual Vamp's creations huh. I will go over and check it out.

Have a lovely weekend.

Cheers FH,

Yes indeed, just in time for that most decadent, debauched and delish of yearly events ;)
Do take a gander, it's a goodie.
Have a nice weekend, Alcira

Hi there Jane and Sue,

I was floored by this redo.
At first I perused the beautiful, traditional furniture the client originally had and almost mourned the fact that they were going to be removed, but the finished space is so wonderful and rich and full of tension, I didn't even miss the old pieces.

Urban flâneuse, armchair observer, absent-minded scribbler, occasional epicure and carpool line cultural attaché, my nom de plume is Nero. Join me as I catalog a compilation of earthly delights and stuff that I dig. Alcira Molina-Ali
