Oh I adore Frida - she was so brilliantly bold and colourful especially for her time - but even for now! She is one of those characters that too easily gets forgotten - so thanks for the reminder. {ps you are having torrential rain in Houston too? The whole world is swimming!}
Evening V,
Frida was a powerhouse, alright. Such a brave spirit.
The portrait above comes from a book about her called "I Will Never Forget You." It contains lots of stunning photos and of course, her art.
It's a very lovely coffee table tome.
We have had a bit of a downpour over the last few days here in Houston. But of course, nothing like the deluge in your parts.
I hope the recovery comes fast and goes smoothly.
Cheers and best, Alcira
What a perfect pairing- such a glorious way to start my Monday.
Austin, too. If it doesn't end soon, I'm going to have to bust out our dusty plans for the arc.
gross.
Oh Erin,
Yur so phuny ;)

Love this beautiful clever pairing - it's quite perfect! And I love that light fixture as well!
Afternoon Q,
Glad you enjoyed the bower power.
It's verdant and pretty and in bloom -- a perfect foil for a rainy Sunday ;)
That fixture's good stuff -- Nate Berkus didn't disappoint in there.
Cheers, Alcira
