Dearest Hermes,
I know you French mean well -- the world, as ever, needs refining.
So passionate is your pursuit of excellence, of l'art de vivre -- it's most heroic.
But please lay off -- stop cobbling matter so magnificent, stop weaving string so decadent and fine, so interplanetary and cosmic, so out of reach to we mere mortals.
In these cases, mercy is the only choice that's fair and just.
So please, exercise your right to relent.

I just went into the the Hermes shop in Las Vegas this weekend. I petted a few items and they felt nice and all but alas I am a mere mortal...and I feel fine about it. I was really admiring the design of all of those gum ball machine bracelets ha! Actually they were a step above and really pretty.

I will never stop wanting a blanet and I wouldn't mind one of those tray tables (sounds wholey insufficient to describe anything by Hermes as a tray table but I digress) either. I have to say though, I'm more of blue box kind of a girl than an orange one:)
