Mantiquing with Monsieur Adler

Jonathan Adler and she who adulates
The sages say lightening never strikes twice, but folks, Nero's here to report that sometimes, just sometimes, it does in a blinding flash of color and fun. You see Nero, ever the flâneuse, was out making the rounds when lo and behold, she stumbled upon none other than Jonathan Adler -- again! -- doing a spot of shopping at Antiques & Interiors on Dunlavy, with his glam PR nonpareils in tow, one of whom I'm convinced plays the Edie Sedgwick in this whole smooth operation.
Ever affable, JA and I took a little tour of the curios, stopping to admire a smashing stash of Napoleonia. You see, Monsieur Adler is a firm believer in the power of a few good mantiques and Nero admittedly suffers from a bit of a Napoleon complex. We gabbed a spell of this and that and, yes, the design demon bought something. But Nero's lips are sealed. I'm hoping some sort of brilliant reinterpretation rears its head a few months hence.
Oh happy chic happenstance -- my brain is still Adler, er, addled.

You are such a lucky lucky woman.
I can't believe I missed him!! I swear I'm there practically every day! You're a lucky girl!!
Raina, seriously, this was the craziest coincidence -- of all the random places.
He really is as fun and adorable as he looks too.

Seeing him up at Dunlavy was so insane, especially the very morning after I'd met him at the book signing.
Such a nice chap, Alcira
